St Andrew's Church held its biggest fundraising event of all time - ‘Sharing our Heritage’ Gala Dinner - at the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel Grand Ballroom on 10 May 2013.

Honorary Advisors Ms Eva Cheng, Mr Ron Hui, Archbishop Rev Paul Kwong and guests enjoyed a Chinese-style banquet dinner, as well as special performances by gospel singers Faith Chen and the Chung Brothers, presentations on the 2020 Vision and the Life Centre, and took part in the live and silent auctions.

Distinguished members of the community Mr Michael Tien and Mr Wong Yan-lung gave touching testimonies of their memories of St Andrew's and how their lives were impacted during their time here.

In total, 400 people attended (seated at 7 Gold and 26 Silver tables), all the auction items (which were donated) were sold, and a total of HK$3.2 million was raised that evening.

However, what stood out most of all was the warmth, goodwill and positive endorsement of the 2020 Vision building project by all who were present that evening, Christian and non-Christian alike.
