Our People

From 1991 to 2007, Dale served as Vicars of two parishes in the Diocese of Durham, England, St Luke's in Billingham and St Nicholas Durham ("The Church in the Market Place") where former Archbishop of Cantebury, Lord Carey was Vicar.

He returned to Hong Kong initially to serve the congregation in Shatin, but has completed a return to St Andrew's in August 2011.

Dale initially studied Natural Sciences at Cambridge and completed a Master' degree in "Biopsychology" at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. He also worked in the photographic trade before Ordination. While in Vancouver he met his wife Pat who is Canadian.

Dale and Pat love being in Hong Kong. They have a grown-up son and daughter, both living in the UK. Dale enjoys birdwatching, photography and playing squash.

Alex is married to Megan (who was born in Hong Kong and grew up here until she was 7) and they have three young sons, Christopher, Edward, and Matthew. In his spare time Alex enjoys the outdoors, particularly the beach, watching (and even still playing) rugby, and spending time with his family discovering Hong Kong.

He is passionate about seeing Christians equipped and encouraged to give expression to the faith, proclaiming and honouring Christ in every part of their life.

During this time she served on the Diocesan Chinese-speaking Board, engaged in strategy planning and organisation regarding the promotion of Chinese ministry.

Sok Han went to the UK with her husband Kim Kee in 1989 for further studies in Bristol, Cambridge, Oxford and Canada respectively. She helped to establish Chinese Christian Fellowships, International Students Wives Fellowships and Mandarin Bible Studies in Bristol, Cambridge, Oxford and Canada respectively. Together with Kim Kee, they served as missionaries with the Christian and Missionary Alliance doing church planting in London and Manchester. They pioneered a ministry called Life Impact Ministries specialising in partnering with local Chinese churches in the UK and Europe in reaching out to the Chinese diasporas, Chinese scholars and students (later merged to form Love China International). Missionary works took her to South East Asia, the Far East, Israel, Russia, America, Europe & the UK.

Sok Han completed her ministerial training at Ripon College Cuddesdon. She served her curacy at St Aldates Oxford and the Parish of Abingdon-on-Thames, later she served as Associate Priest, at the said parish until November 2014 in the Diocese of Oxford, England.

Sok Han loves nature, particularly mountains, woods and lakes. She is passionate to see Mandarin-speakers being equipped, encouraged and fulfilling their unique mission calling and destiny.

Sok Han and Kim Kee have a son Lekai Lee who is married to Olivia and a daughter Leying Lee reading Medical Science at St Mary’s College, Durham University.
